Boom Review: Reunion @ Hub Space

Updated: 5 days ago

Last week I had a business meeting booked in and we were looking for a suitable place to meet. I remembered about the new co-work space at Hub Space that’s opened up in the centre of Belper (opposite De Bradelei Mill) and decided to check it out.

We had a really warm welcome by the lovely Sara who had booked out the spacious, quiet meeting room for us. It was perfect for our needs and even had the added bonus of a lunch delivery from sister company Reunion Deli on Strutt Street (formerly 'Fresh Basil')!

I asked for a tour of the building and the co-work set up to share with Boom readers as many of you or your friends may well be interested in this shared work space as an alternative to home-working.

The building is The Old School House on Chapel St, beautifully restored by Ashley & Tracey, who house their businesses there – Chevin Fleet Solutions and Creative Holistic Space. They have teamed up with Jo from Reunion to rent out a part of the gorgeous high spec top floor with its skylights, fresh airy feel and dozens of hanging plants.

There’s a lovely booth area for casual meetings and all members have access to the kitchen and dining area where hot drinks and biscuits are on continuous supply and the menu ready and waiting for deli deliveries!

They have a range of membership options varying in price and are happy to talk to you about what might best suit your need. I highly recommend you get in touch and go for a look around. It’s a fabulous space to work with great facilities.
