This September, I will be taking on the Sands Charity 100k Challenge, walking 100 kilometres throughout the month to raise awareness for baby loss and to support those who have experienced the unimaginable.

As someone who has personally felt the pain of recurrent baby loss, this walk is deeply personal. But it is also a message of hope, healing, and breaking down the taboo. It's part of a broader vision I've recently embraced – creating a new supportive space for women navigating their journey of baby loss. It is something I have become deeply passionate about, and would love to connect with others who have experienced loss.

I am inviting the Derbyshire community to walk alongside me at various local locations. Whether you have been personally affected by baby loss, or simply wish to show your support, everyone is welcome. These walks are not just about fundraising, they are about connection, compassion, and creating space to talk and remember.

This campaign is part of the Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) 100k in September Challenge, which raises vital funds to support bereaved families and fund research to save babies' lives.

💛 Why I'm Walking

This journey is about more than steps – it's about breaking the silence that often surrounds baby loss.

Together, step by step, we can raise awareness, offer comfort, and create a community where no one feels alone in their grief.
